The Drysdale is a bright, intelligent sheep which is full of character. A well balanced, active sheep with bold free movement and stylish carriage.

The rams head is strong, bold and masculine in appearance, open face, wide with broad forehead and strong, bold, well balanced horns with slight topknot. The ewes have small well spaced horns.

Their fleece should be uniform in quality, length and highly medullated throughout. White in colour without lustre and evidence of crimp in fibre. Crisp in handle displaying good bulk with plenty of spring. Approx. 40 micron and high yielding.
